Surviving Behind Us, Thriving Before Us, Matt left the ICU and began four months of rehabilitation at Sunnyview Rehab Hospital. Mike and I could live at home, work, and continue to be involved in Matt's recovery. We fell into a predictable routine of long days, long weeks, and hard work for Matt—and us. Blessedly, each tiny improvement slowly built upon others until they collectively began to add up in observable ways.
